Register at www.SoftSwitch24.com and test our Service with Support Engineers. Register your equipment and make test phone calls. Choose the Billing Plan and Make Payment. Add and configure your Routes. Send and receive minutes through registered gateways.1.2 What hardware do I need to use SoftSwitch24 Service ?
To originate or terminate phone calls via the SoftSwitch24s Service you basically need a multimedia gateways supporting H.323 or SIP protocols.1.3 What software do I need to use SoftSwitch24 Service ?
In order to work via SoftSwitch24sm web-interface, you just need an Internet connected PC with a browser.2.1 What parameters should I specify when registering a destination
Required equipment parameters are: description, IP address, Technology used (SIP/H323), Tech Prefix.2.2 What do gateway parameters mean ?
Description - a user-friendly description to better identify the gateway in the SoftSwitch24 web interface.GW IP Address - the gateway's IP address.
Technology used: Use SIP or H323
TechPrefix : the digits that will be automatically added to the beginning of E.164 numbers sent to this gateway from SoftSwitch24
2.3 Is there a limit of the number of devices I can register ?
No, there isn't. You may register as many gateways as you need.2.4 Does SoftSwitch24 recommend any specific software versions ?
In general, it is recommended that you use the latest major release. For Cisco gateways, GD or LD releases are preferable (those which don't contain a capital letter in the version number).3.1 Will we get a dedicated SoftSwitch24 IP ?
Yes. We run a dedicated instance of SoftSwitch24 and provide a dedicated IP address for every member.3.2 Will you provide us with software ?
SoftSwitch24 is running in our location and you register the destinations, the customers, set routes and monitor traffic via a web-interface (we provide you with Account ID and Password). We will not install any software on your equipment.3.3 What is the price for SoftSwitch24sm Service ?
Cost depends on the volume of traffic and varies from 0.0017 EUR to 0.0004 EUR per minute. For details please visit http://www.SoftSwitch24.com.3.4 Can I make test calls and see all the features of SoftSwitch24 ?

You may add as many customers in your account as you need. Routes, billing settings and reports may be set individually for each Customer.4.1 Will I need an engineer to reroute my traffic ?
No, rerouting is easy, it takes few seconds to reroute or establish new Route.4.2 Can I limit capacity usage for each originating/terminating customer/gateway/route ?
Yes, you may control capacity usage of each originating/terminating customer/gateway/route options in real time.4.3 Can I load a list of tariffs into your system instead of entering tariff one by one ?
Yes, this option is available, you may edit your A-Z lists in Excel and upload/download files for each customer.4.4 Can I set priorities for my Routes ?
Yes, you may prioritize termination based on Priorities and Weights.5.1 How many gateways can I monitor with SoftSwitch24 ?
You can register and monitor as many gateways as you need.5.2 What is included into your Call Detail Records?
Our Call Detail Record includes: called number, time of call, route name, call duration, billed amount and other parameters.5.3 Do you provide any online report that could help me in traffic monitoring?

6.1 Can SoftSwitch24sm bill end-users and generate PIN codes ?
SoftSwitch24 is not designed and intended to bill end-users and generate PIN codes. It is built to bill and monitor wholesale traffic between gateways. Our typical client is a VoIP operator who has a lot of gateways around the world that have to be monitored and billed.6.2 Can I set my own rates into SoftSwitch24 billing platform ?
Yes. You set your own rates for every route you create.6.3 Can I manage my customers balances and provide them with CDR statistics via web ?
Yes. You can Monitor and Manage your prepaid/postpaid customer balances, and define credit line for each customer, provide your customers with web access to CDR and Statistics.6.4 If I need to change billing settings, how long will it take ?
Billing parameters may be changed online in real time.6.5 Will I be able to use your billing system to bill my customers ?
Yes, SoftSwitch24sm provides customizable online reports for easy Customer Billing. Billing system may be customized to fit the operator's unique requirements.7.1 Will we get technical support? Will we pay for it ?
Yes, you will have Full technical support. You pay only for minutes according to the billing plan you choose and pay nothing for support.7.2 Can I connect to other Softswitches ?
Yes. The basic requirement is that those softswitches support H.323 or SIP protocols.7.3 How many concurrent lines can we send on SoftSwitch24 ?
One instance of SoftSwitch24 can process up to 500 concurrent lines. If your traffic requires more capacity we will run one more instance for you.7.4 Does SoftSwitch24 allow connecting equipment of different origin ?
Yes, wide compatibility is provided. You may connect heterogeneous equipment within minutes.
